This weekend is the commemorative anniversary of former New Paltz Mayor Jason West’s landmark marriages of same sex couples.  After sweeping national headlines, the unions were annulled, igniting national movements toward marriage equality.  Join the annulled couples and their supporters in New Paltz’s Peace Park to commemorate the anniversary and peacefully demonstrate against the Empire State’s inequality – details are below.

“Short Is Not Always Bad” Dinner & A Movie with Trixie @ Space 360, Hudson @ 6:30p
The Harlet of Hudson, Miss Trixie Starr, hosts two hours of dinner & short films and even musters up the time to provide dessert (just how does she do it!?).  $25 gets you your choice of grub and a spectacular show provided by the Manhattan Short Film Festival.
