As the battle for marriage equality in NYS continues this week, a recent poll shows 53% of the state in favor of the legislation!  If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to contact your local representatives to express your approval of this measure and encourage them to do the same.  

 

An amazingly beautiful weekend has been forecasted, so get out there and enjoy our Big Gay Hudson Valley!

Rally for Marriage Equality, Goshen, New York, 2pm – 4pm
The Alliance for the Realization of Legal Equality will be sponsoring a rally at 2 pm on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Church Park, Goshen, Orange County, New York.  The purpose of this rally will be to peacefully protest the prohibition of same-sex marriages, which the ARLE holds to violate the Equal Protection Clause of the First and Fourteenth Amendments of the Constitution of the United States, as well as Section 11 of Article I of the Constitution of the 
State of New York, as well as the basic values of tolerance, acceptance, and equality, on which the United States and the State of New York are founded.

Gay Pride Rockland is hosting its 3rd Annual LGBT Comedy Night. Starring Michele Balan & Ian Harvie, with special guest host Richard Skipper, the event will take place at the Nyack Center, at the Corner of Broadway and Depew in Nyack, New York.
