With the onset of fall, it’s time to pull out your sweaters and brace yourselves for cocoa and apple picking.  Looking for a place to grab some fruit with the local fruits?  Visit our friend Farmer Billiam at Liberty View Farm in Highland.  He and farmhand husband, Rene, have an amazing site with apple picking, chickens, farm animals, veggies, tag sales, picturesque views and oh so much more.  Check them out this weekend and tell them BGHV sent you!

Next weekend is the Hetrick-Martin Institute’s Fall Fest 2009 Fundraiser!!  This amazing group is celebrating its 30th anniversary of supporting and developing at-risk LGBTQ youth into the future of our country.  Tickets for their 4th Annual Fall Fest Fundraiser are available now and the lineup & after party are proving to be a the premier party of the year.  Through our partnership with the group, we’re encouraging youth to attend this event, that’s why we’ve made “30 for $30″ available – 30 tickets for $30 available only to those between the age of 21 and 25.  Members of the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Center are also getting the hookup, with tickets available for 50% when purchased through the link posted on BGHV.  If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, read up on this incredible event and book your spot now to get in on what is sure to be the premier party of the year.
