BGHV Weekend Jan 7thHappy New Year!  Being the season for A New Year – A New You, we’ve been looking back at the last year’s growth of BGHV and need to thank all of you for your continued support of the site and all of the events, happenings and people that we promote.  That being said, we’ve got big plans for 2010 – and we want you to be a part of it! We know everyone’s a little bit shy and doesn’t want to toot their own horn, so that’s what we’re for!

While our home base in the Poughkeepsie area, we realize that our region covers a lot of ground, so we’re especially looking for writers, bloggers and photographers to help us spotlight just how unique our community is.  We’re currently seeking community correspondents for White Plains, Nyack, Cold Spring, Middletown, Millbrook, Catskill, Phoenicia and Hudson areas to help us stay connected to the big gay pulse of all those gayborhoods.  Interested in contributing?  Don’t think you’re a writer – don’t worry! Drop us a line and we’ll work with you.

In the meantime enjoy the coming weekend…
