Truman’s Grand Opening (Finally!), New Paltz, 8p
As many know, the opening of Truman’s – the new homo-bar in New Paltz – has been on hold for three years as they have been attempting to work out all the details of their liquor license. Well, they have apparently sorted things out, and they are having a “soft-opening” this coming Saturday night at 8pm.

Screening of “Outcomes”, Kingston, NY @ 7:30pm
The Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center will become the scene of the world premiere of “Outcomes: LGBTQ Stories from the Hudson Valley” on Saturday night. For the film, Director Joy E. Reed and her crew interviewed 17 volunteers from the Center about their coming-out experiences. The result is a series of moving, sometimes funny, always very genuine stories focusing on the coming-out process of a diverse group of Center members. Check out more about the film on its website.

Annual Capital Pride Parade, Albany @ noon
Downtown Albany (State St, Lark St, & Madison Ave), 12:00 Noon! Free! Come celebrate the Capital District’s great LGBTQ community! The parade steps off at noon in Washington Park.
The festivities on the stage kick off immediately following the Pride Parade. Join us as Erin Harkes, DJ Dave Barna, Taina Asili y la Banda Rebelde, Frenchie Davis and AMBER take the main stage this year. The stage festivities will be hosted this year by Penny Larceny and Fly 92 DJs Chrissy Cavotta and Shawn Gillie. Eat, drink and be merry in our food and beverage vendor area and visit our vendor/exhibitor tent. Mid-Hudson Gay & Lesbian Professionals Alliance Dinner, Kingston @ 6:30p
The MHGLPA is headed to Stella’s Italian Restaurant at 44 North Front Street in Uptown Kingston for their monthly gathering.  Cash bar starting 6:30, Dinner at 7 for $25 per person (includes tax & gratuity).  Free tours of the new art exhibit, “Couples”, will be held at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center starting at 6p.  RSVP to Nancy at sandford@us.ibm.com.
