Hudson Valley AIDS WalkHello Everyone! Welcome to another Big Gay week here in the Hudson Valley of New York. Thank you to all of the 130 of you that joined us at the Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center for the Poughkeepsie premier of Tom Judson’s “Canned Ham”. The reviews are in, and with so many of you enjoying the show, BGHV will be sure to bring more gay shows to the area this coming winter. By attending last Friday’s performance, you helped BGHV to raise almost $700 for ARCS!

Speaking of ARCS, last Saturday was the Hudson Valley AIDS Walk. Despite the bone-chilling temperatures, it was great to see so many of you in Waryas Park last Saturday morning to help raise funds for Hudson Valley AIDS Related Community Services. Overall, the walkers raised more than $25,000 for the ARCS, and we here at BGHV were thrilled to learn that our team was the #1 fundraising team, bringing in nearly $2,000 for the walk. A special “Thank You” goes out to Mr. Nelson Schoen, who raised over $900 on his own for our team!

Lots of good stuff happening here this weekend – check it all out below, and brace yourself for next weekend – the calendar is jam-packed with Halloween fun!
