To help us all keep better tabs on our health, BGHV has teamed up with our friends at Cross Valley Health & Medicine in Newburgh to bring you our first ever Big Gay Wellness Day on Saturday May 22nd from 11a to 3p.
Cross Valley Health & Medicine, P.C. is a gay-owned, gay-managed and gay-affirmative practice that offers a complete roster of wellness services to the Hudson Valley’s adult (18 years of age and up) LGBTQ community . Their two lead MD’s, Paul Saladino and Amanda Mohabir, and physician assistant, Claudia Ramirez, RPA-C, are board certified professionals whose combined expertise equips the practice to offer Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine and Women Preventative services. Primary care services, hospital/intensive services and addiction treatment are also available 5-days-a-week.
For our first ever Big Gay Wellness Day, Cross Valley Health & Medicine will be opening the doors of their spacious and personal facility for a day of free screenings and visits with their expert staff. They’ll be doing general male and female health screenings while checking blood pressure and blood sugar. Their docs will also be on site to confidentially chat about diabetes, cholesterol, STD’s, female prevention services, and more. We’ll have giveaways aplenty, as well – RSVP to our Facebook invite and when you attend you’ll be entered into a raffle to win tickets to a performance of Cirque du Soleil.
