We’ve been hard at work soliciting your feedback about what you like, what you don’t, and what you want more of. We’re especially proud of introducing a more interactive approach to connecting with your community. Our new geo-driven format is designed to awaken your inner adventurer and get you out and about in the region. Be it a breath-taking attraction, swanky new eatery, or one of the myriad events happening everyday across the area, we want to be able to list your own information for publication and find already posted information in an easier format than ever before.

Geo-Driven Listings

We love exploring our community and we want you to do the same! Our new map-integrated listings show you exactly where you’re going to help you build out a better itinerary. Our new structure also groups all of your & our favorite finds under five easily navigated categories:

Attractions are the region’s must-see’s and must-do’s in the arenas of arts, culture, and recreation.

Eat and Drink serves up the best in dining in, dining out, bar hopping, and foraging in the Hudson Valley.

Services outlines the professional offices that help you to manage your life while supporting our big gay community.

Shop highlights the bevy of fabulous finds curated in the Valley’s shops and boutiques.

Stay is your one stop shop for the area’s best accommodations – perfect for a weekend visit or a local staycation.

Trying to shop local? Use the “What’s In Your Gayborhood?” dropdown menu in each page’s sidebar to see listings and events that are closer to you.

Add Your Own Events and Listings

While we feel we know the area pretty well, there’s no way we’re going to find everything – that’s where we need your help! Use the new “Add Listing” and “Add Event” buttons in the navigation bar to get your business, service, or event listed on BGHV.

Listings are for businesses who want to share their offerings with our community. These items – including the likes of restaurants, stores, and museums – appear in our Attractions, Eat and Drink, Services, Shop, and Stay pages.

Events are for time-sensitive happenings in the community. These items – including festivals, fundraisers, and parties – appear in our Happenings page.

Basic postings are free, but you can get some more traction for your post by upgrading to a Featured listing. Check out our listing FAQ to learn more.
