Gay film festivals are running wild throughout the Valley just in time for the kickoff to the summer box office season.  While I know you’re all excited to catch a glimpse of Zachary Quinto & Chris Pine as space-hopping trekkies, don’t miss these great independent LGBT films showing throughout the Valley.

The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, NY is screening 14 different films at their amazing Media Arts Lab.  Screenings vary each night and run May 24 through June 3.

 

Out Film CT

Now in its 22nd year, the Connecticut gay & lesbian film festival has 13 flicks slated for viewing from May 21 through May 30.  Screenings are held at Cinestudio in Hartford, CT.

Every Little Step

Screening at the oh-so-vintage Upstate Films in Rhinebeck, this documentary follows performers as they audition for the 2006 revival of famed Broadway hit A Chorus Line.  Screenings are scheduled through May 28.
