Big Gay Hudson Valley is proud to announce the first-ever Queen City Pride celebration coming to Poughkeepsie the weekend of June 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th. We’ve given our classic “Pride Preview Weekend” a new date, new time, and a host of all-new events – but don’t worry, the Big Gay Summer Picnic is still there (and coming back to Locust Grove!)
All are invited to join BGHV in the “Queen City of the Hudson Valley” for these fabulous happenings:

Thursday Night, June 5th

Night Out at Vassar College

Spend an evening sampling local wines and spirits while touring through the indoor & outdoor exhibits of Vassar’s acclaimed art museum.

Friday Night, June 6th

Big Gay 80’s Cosmic Bowling with Trixie Starr

Spray down your shoes and shine your ball(s), we’re going bowling – big 80’s cosmic style! Bring a team or join one when you get here. Open to players of all ages, this casual night out won’t be “spare” on fun.

Queen City Block Party & Big Gay Life Expo

Gay-owned and gay-affirming businesses blanket the Hudson Valley. Meet many of them at this unique interactive expo highlighting the best our region has to offer with vendor tables, interactive sessions and plenty of great giveaways.

Saturday Night, June 7th

Beefcake Dinner: BBQ, Beer & Boylesque!

What goes best with BBQ platters and locally brewed beer? Boylesque, of course. Our “Beefcake” dinner comes with a meal and a show that’ll have you clanking your steins together while screaming for more.

Big Gay Summer Picnic

Our classic summer BYO picnic is back for a record SIXTH YEAR! Returning to the beautiful grounds of the historic Locust Grove estate, we’ll have live entertainment, dancing, prizes for the “Best Picnicscapes” and more gay fun in the sun than you can shake a stick at.
