CENTERstage Productions is pleased to announce auditions for The Lion in Winter by James Goldman, directed by Michael Juzwak.
What happens when King Henry II invites the wife he imprisoned, Eleanor of Aquitaine; his three sons, Richard, Geoffrey and John to spend Christmas with him? Henry wants his kingdom to stay untied after his death, but all three sons want to rule. Henry favors the youngest John, while Eleanor favors the eldest, Richard. Who wins? Who loses? Who survives Christmas in Chinon?
Location: The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinbeck
Performance Dates: April 6 – 15, 2018

Prepare: There will be sides from the script available at the auditions for cold readings, please be familiar with the script.
