Volunteers Needed For A Day of Service
The LOFT is hosting a Day of Service at St. Bart’s Soup Kitchen, 82 Prospect St., White Plains, NY 10606 on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 10:45AM to 1:00PM.
WHAT IS NEEDED: Volunteers, your time and some food items. If you are unable to volunteer you can still donate food for The LOFT to bring.
MENU: Salad, Chili, Rice, Cake, Ice Cream (Chili and cake being made ahead of time).
FOOD ITEMS NEEDED TO SERVE 30 PEOPLE: Salad items such as lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, croutons, vinaigrette salad dressing. Dessert such as Ice Cream. Chili Toppings such as jalapenos, onions, sour cream, fritos, crackers.

St. Bart’s Soup Kitchen has been service the White Plains community at least 15 years. The kitchen is overseen by a dedicated parishioner who procures individual volunteers and organizations in our community that provides home cooked balanced meals for up to 30 guests per week. Whether homeless or simply hungry, all are invited.
